These terms govern your use of the Results Portal and any co-hosted giveaway event (the "Services") operated by Thousand Person Tribe ("TPT", "we", "us"), a Canadian business co-owned by Catharine O'Leary and Tom Matzen. By registering for a giveaway or using the portal, you agree to these terms.
1. The giveaway and portal
Giveaway events are free promotional events offered together with participating co-hosts. Registration requires a valid name and email address. No purchase is necessary, no credit card is required, and there is no obligation to buy anything at any time. Access to the resources is delivered inside the Results Portal.
2. Registration and consent
By registering, you provide express consent to receive electronic messages from TPT and from the co-hosts of the giveaway you joined, as described at the point of registration and in our Privacy Policy. Every email identifies its sender and contains an unsubscribe link; you may withdraw consent from any sender at any time. You agree to provide accurate information — delivery of membership details depends on the email address you supply.
3. Use of the resources
The tools, guides, templates, and trainings in the portal are provided for your personal and business use. Each resource remains the intellectual property of the expert or business that contributed it (or of TPT). You may not resell, redistribute, or republish the resources, or represent them as your own. You are welcome to share the giveaway registration page with others.
4. Third-party co-hosts
Co-hosts are independent businesses. TPT does not control, and is not responsible for, the products, services, advice, offers, or email practices of any co-host. Any dealings you have with a co-host are solely between you and that co-host.
5. No professional advice
The resources are educational. They are not legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice, and no specific business results are promised or guaranteed. Your results depend on your own effort and circumstances.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the portal available and up to date, but the Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We may add, update, or retire individual resources, or modify or discontinue the Services, at any time. We may also update these terms; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Services — including attempting to bypass registration, scraping content, registering with false information, or interfering with the operation of the portal. We may suspend access for misuse.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TPT and its owners are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Because the Services are free, our total liability for any claim relating to them is limited to CAD $100.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which TPT operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
